Originally opened in 1995 and located in San Diego, CA. I joined my father in 2003, we worked side by side until we moved our family to Tennessee and opened our second location in 2021.

Gordy's Stump Grinding has built a reputation of reliability, value and customer service. We are Stump Grinding Specialists and your go-to Stump Grinder for those difficult access stumps.

Whether the stump is located on the 3rd floor of an apartment complex courtyard or on the 15th story of a building we've got you covered.

We love honest people. Scott came out to give us a quote for stump removal. He knew we were about to have our land level by bobcat, so he suggested we save our money on stump removal and have the bobcat guy pull it up by the root. There are so many contractors out to make a quick buck, but Scott is one of the few honest people left. Please use them if you need stump grind/remove. Our stumps were old and very brittle, so it made since to pull it up. Will definitely recommend them to our friends.
